TRAVEL TIME — 14 Days and 13 Nights
Day 1: TEHRAN
Nadia parvaz’s tour director welcomes you at Imam Khomeini International Airport.
direct transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: TEHRAN-KASHAN
First National Museum ( Archeological Museum), with archaeological & art collections.
Then, we are visiting (WHS) Golestan Palace, the first royal building in Tehran.
Next, will be, according to opening days of National Jewelry museum.
Afternoon drive to Kashan .
Note: National Jewelry Museum Hours: Saturday-Tuesday 14:00 -16:00
Day 3: KASHAN-ISFAHAN
In the Morning we will visit to Historical Tabatabaei Houuse and Fin Royal Garden with its historical highlights. Then, Transfer to Isfahan, via Abyaneh Historical Village, one of the four world famous Iranian villages, well-known for its red houses and architecture and people’s special costume.
Next city is Isfahan, visiting light up Naghshe Jahan square.
Day 4: ISFAHAN
We have a great day in Isfahan, the masterpiece of Islamic archeology, by visiting Chehel-Sotun Garden (WHS). The architectural of the palace is a typical design of all Persian Gardens.
We are going to visit the Emam square (Naghsh-e-Jahan Square) (WHS), to visit Imam Mosque, The beauty in design and awesome harmony.
Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, every viewer can be absorbed by its dome color which is going to be changed from dawn to dusk.
The Ali-Qapu palace is the next site,which means “great gate”. it is very famouse in naturalistic wall paintings.
Traditional Bazaar is the other important part of the main square.
In the evening time, we visit Siyosepol, the longest bridge on Zayandeh Rood River connecting east of Isfahan to its west.
Day 5: ISFAHAN-YAZD
Morning you will continue sightseeing in Isfahan starting with Vank Cathedral famous for beautiful wall paintings and the Armenian Museum inside the yard.
(UWH) Isfahan’s Friday Mosque, a live gallery of typical Iranian Islamic architecture and decoration. On the way to Yazd en route we have Naein and Meybod.
Upon arrival, visit to light up Yazd Friday Mosque, with “the tallest mosque entrance gate” in Iran.
Day 6: YAZD
In the morning, not very far from the city just we have funeral towers of the Zoroastrians called “Towers of Silence“, and then Zoroastrian Fire Temple.
Dowlatabad Garden as one of the nine Persian gardens registered on the (UWH). Later on, visiting old town quarter and some of its highlights including impressive Amir Chakhmagh Complex.
Zarch Qanat (aqueduct) the longest one in the world with 100 KM.
The last part of the tour is Zurkhaneh pahlevani rituals which is inscribed by UNESCO for varzesh-e pahlavāni.
Day 7: ABAR KUH-PASARGAD-SHIRAZ
Morning departure for Shiraz (440 Km).
On the way we will visit the ancient Cypress in Abarkuh.
Visiting the (UWH) of Pasargadae Palace & Tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the most powerful Persian Empire, which ruled almost half of the world population in its power pick.
And finally we get Shiraz, the city of gardens, nightingales and poetry.
Day 8: SHIRAZ- Persepolis- Naqsh-e Rostam
Morning you will have sightseeing in Shiraz starting with Pink (Nasir-ol Molk) Mosque, famous for its fine and colorful ceramics & windows.
Next, a half-day excursion to the very impressive (UWH) of Takht-e Jamshid or as Greek historian Herodotus called it, “Persepolis.
Naqsh-e Rostam Necropolis, the rock reliefs and rock tombs of the Achaemenid and Sassanid’s famous emperors and Naqsh-e Rajab.
Day 9: SHIRAZ
We will visit Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, which is famous as Pink Mosque. Sunrays will paint the floor and the columns colors by passing through the colorful window glasses.
Then, Karim khan Citadel; Vakil Mosque and traditional bazaar of Vakil and SarayMoshir. Next is Shah Cheragh holy shrine for their mirror works. In the evening, you will visit the Tomb of Iranian Famous Poet, Hafiz.
Day 10: BISHAPUR-AHVAZ
Departure for Ahvaz (575 km) via ancient city of Bishapur, capital city and palace of Shapur I, the second Sassanid king, the nightmare of Romans, who killed Gordian II, captured Valerian and forced Philip the Arab to surrender. Here you also visit Anahita Temple, with Sassanid architecture.
Few minutes away, within Chogan Gorge there are 6 fine and remarkable bas-reliefs dating back to Sassanid era.
Continuing the road to Ahvaz or choosing the optional day: Continuing the road to an eco-lodge in Izeh ,Bakhtiari qishlaq (winter quarters) residence.
Optional day 1:
Early in the morning, departure for Bakhtiari Tribe Tang Poulad (1.5 KM) by foot or vehicle in unpaved road and tasting Bakhtiari traditional cookies. Transfer to amazing Kool Farah Bas-reliefs or Narsina temple, one of the Elamite gods,Tarisha or Elamite Eshkoft Salman Cave Engravings and Ancient cemetery of Shahsavar. You can enjoy carriage riding by inquiry in advance, then transfer to eco-lodge. Soiree in black tent residence along with live local music till midnight.
Optional day 2:
Late morning visit to handicraft making at home and baking bread and enjoying the life style of Bakhtiari Tribe. Afternoon departure for Ramhormoz.
Day 11: AHVAZ-SHUSHTAR-ZIGURAT-SUSA
Early departure from hotel. You will start with excursion to Shoushtar to visit the (UWH) Historical Hydraulic System and Shodorvan (Caesar’s) bridge, and.
Transfer to hotel in Shushtar.later on,depart to Susa to visit UNESCO World Heritage five story Elamite Ziggurat of Chogha Zanbil, one of the few ziggurats out of Mesopotamia, and considered to be the best preserved ziggurat in the world, dating back to 1250 B.
C. Haft Teppe , an archaeological site the remains of the Elamite empire. Apadana Palace ruins, Susa Museum and Chateau de Suse (Susa Castle), constructed by French archeologists with original historical bricks & materials from the Apadana during their excavations in Susa pre- and historical site. Transfer to Airport for flight to Tehran. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
Day 12: TEHRAN-DEPARTURE(IKA)
Morning light sightseeing in Tehran. Visits start with Carpet Museum, some of the most beautiful and world famous fine Hand-weaved Persian Carpets.
Abgineh Glass & Ceramic Museum
On the way to Airport, Azadi Tower, the former symbol of Tehran and a unique construction with traditional and modern architecture.
Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport
